Patient Services Coordinator - Medical Receptionist Valdosta GA AppleCare Immediate Care Full Time (Hourly)
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1 year Medical Reception experience required
Must have the ability to deal tactfully with patients and family members.
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.  
Exhibit patience, tact and a cheerful dispositions and enthusiasm.
Must pass a pre-employment criminal history and drug screen.

  • Greets and screens patients
  • Answers the telephone using proper telephone etiquette
  • Verifies all patient paperwork has been completed and enters it accurately
  • Performs insurance verification and scans patient cards into Docutap
  • Collects co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance and past due balances
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Accurately balances daily deposit and sends nightly email
  • Balances and logs cash drawer twice daily
  • Follows all policies and procedures by AppleCare standards
  • Completes all tasks assigned in a timely manner
